Greatest Basketball Player of All Time

Who is the greatest basketball to ever play the game. Yes this question is as subjective as it can get, but there are a few players that really have the statistical argument to be involved in the "GOAT talk" for basketball.
Beginning at Point Guard, Magic Johnson is arguably the greatest with a player still in the NBA that may take that from him, Steph Curry. At Shooting guard their is Michael Jordan, Small forward their is LeBron James and Larry Bird, and at center their is, Shaquille O'Neal, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Bill Russell.

Now all of these players have their reasons for being at the top and after looking at achievements and stats mostly, I broke down players by positions. At Point Guard Magic Johnson, Shooting Guard Michael Jordan, Small Forward LeBron James, and Center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
After looking at these players they all were great but their was one major thing I noticed. Magic and Kareem played together for nearly 10 years in their career. When looking at the GOAT you need to stand out and when you see two of the greatest players of all time playing on the same team for 10 years it can diminish to some extent your greatness.
This left LeBron James and Michael Jordan, the two it typically comes down to in this debate and the final decision cam to be Michael Jordan. LeBron James is currently still playing so this could change when he retires but based off the current achievements and stats of these players, Michael Jordan is the GOAT of basketball.
If curious what Michael Jordan accomplished throughout his career this is it. Jordan not only dominated on the offensive side of the court but was a fantastic defender as well and this was one of the major reasons he was decided the GOAT in my essay.
