Narrative Essay - My First, and Last Lie to my Parents.

The story I decided to write about was a story I always remember. Ever since a young age, I have always been into the Marvel movies, and would constantly look forward to the next release. When Avengers Endgame hit theaters, my friends and I wanted to watch it as early as possible, which meant midnight the day it releases. My parents definitely wouldn't be okay with me going at midnight, so I had to lie to them and tell them endgame was only a 1 hour movie. So when they found out I lied, and found out the movie runtime was actually 3 hours, they were not happy with me. It was a very bittersweet night, since I also met my best friend at the movie theater, while getting grounded in the same 4 hour span. That night taught me a valuable lesson in life, and it's not to lie to your parents, because it will haunt you.
