The article Space Colonization shares the captivating idea of humans colonizing a new planet. Although discovering new information about other planets is important to life on earth, why do we need to live on a new planet? One theory for why we may need to leave Earth is due to natural disaster, which is inevitable. The other theory is we, as humans, will cause so much harm to our planet that it will become uninhabitable. So, what's to stop us from doing that to a new planet?

Space colonization will provide lots of useful scientific information for us, but is unrealistic. As humans, we tend to not be so inclined to experience new things. Expecting the population of the planet to up and go onto a new planet is unrealistic. They should continue to research this idea, because I am sure one day it will become our reality when we have no other option.

At the same time, humans should putting more of this curiosity into wondering why we may need to inhabit a new planet. What is going so wrong on this planet that we need to leave? There was a time we would say recycle, we only get one planet so let's take care of our home. That/s not reality anymore, we can find a new home and not take care of it either.
