Was It Worth It?

Hey guys, I centered my narrative essay on the time I fractured my ankle in middle school, to give you a little glimpse into my story, here is a snippet of my introduction from my essay:

"Typically when sports tryouts are coming up, you would want to practice beforehand, improve on areas that you’re not the strongest in, or just become a little less rusty when tryouts come around the following week. Well, this was my train of thought when I was 13 years old in eighth grade, eagerly anticipating the softball season that would begin the following week. Since I played both softball and lacrosse, eighth grade was the year I finally had to settle on deciding which sport I was going to play in middle school. My thirteen-year old self chose softball, which can prove to be a questionable decision later on."
